Deepen the Conversation: Digital display and interface – why bother?
This event is now in the past.
Listen to audio recordings of events.
Prometheus, The Terminator, Minority Report – whenever we look to the future we dream up a reality blended seamlessly with the digital world. Could this really be our future?
Augmented reality (AR) is the art of super-imposing computer generated content over a live view of the world – creatively demonstrated in the Floodlines exhibition at State Library of Queensland.
Join digital and hypermedia poet and artist Jason Nelson and Josephmark’s Managing Director, Ben Johnston in conversation with Lubi Thomas, QUT Creative Industries Precinct Curator, as they explore the endless potential of using AR for audience engagement and predict where we will be in this space in 10 years.
Can't make it to State Library for this session? This event will also be live streamed.
