APDL Connect Project: Opening Workshop

APDL Connect Installation

This event is now in the past.

APDL invites you to get a sneak preview of the APDL Connect installation and join members of Woods Bagot as they ask the question ‘How might your cultural background and life experiences shape your design thinking process?’

Using the Inquire, Ideate and Implement process, Woods Bagot will guide participants through a short interactive design exercise based on the installation concept. Attendees will be asked to reflect on their design journey and connections within the Asia Pacific to create small maquette that is reflective of their cultural DNA. Participants will then use the maquette as a mediated object that generates conversation and exchange of knowledge between participants about cultural and design discipline backgrounds and how that might influence future practice. The aim of the workshop is to share participants’ stories, insights and observations from their design practice or experiences in the Asia Pacific, and have the content generated included as part of the main installation.

This workshop is part of the APDL Connect Project.
