Imagine three inspired days of creativity and collaboration, where you and 19 other like-minded young people will explore and develop your love of writing in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment. Sound good? Then Young Writers Camp is for you!
Led by a team of professional writers, this immersive program of specialised workshops is designed to progress your skills, expand your creative potential, and identify real pathways to get your writing out into the world.
To be a part of this workshop series, participants will need to:
- be aged 15–17 (as of 3 April 2018).
- be available for the full period of the workshop series from 3-5 April 2018.
- be able to travel to and from the Young Writers Camp each day
How to apply
All applicants (successful and unsuccessful) will be contacted by 23 March 2017.
Please note: These workshops are subsidised by State Library of Queensland to make the program affordable and accessible to as many young people as possible. If however, the fee is a genuine barrier to participation, please let us know in an enquiry via phone or email.
