Student workshop for grades 1 and 2
Students can explore the process of writing picture books in a fun and engaging class with award-winning children’s author Mark Carthew.
Look at how Mark writes characters and creates stories with rhyme in his picture books Five Little Owls and The Moose is Loose!
Then construct, write and illustrate your own story to share with family and friends.
This workshop will be run at 10am and 12.30pm on Wednesday 12 June.
Presented by the State Library and May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust.
