Schools workshop for grades 4 and 5
Explore book design, humour and wordplay in visual, spoken and performed texts, including examples from Mark’s award-winning children’s books.
Look at interactive examples from Doctor! Doctor! and Kaleidoscope as well as rhyming books Newts, Lutes and Bandicoots, Wicked Wizards & Leaping Lizards and Witches’ Britches Itches & Twitches!
Drawing inspiration from Mark’s work, participants will create hilarious rhymes for their own character.
Presented by SLQ and May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust.
