Poetry Slam - Moreton Bay heat

The search is on for Queensland's best spoken word poet.
Speak, scream, howl, whisper or sing your original poem at the Moreton Bay region heat of the Australian Poetry Slam 2012 competition.
Heat contestants are given a microphone, a live audience and just two minutes to impress the judges (selected at random at each heat) with their original spoken word, poetry, hip hop, monologues and stories.
If you think you’ve got what it takes, sign up is 30 minutes before slam kick-off.
We're also running free slam workshops to help you sharpen your words before you hit the stage.
