Poetry Slam - Brisbane heat

2 minutes to make your mark on the mic!

Speak, scream, howl, whisper or sing your original poem at the first Brisbane heat of the Australian Poetry Slam 2012 competition.

Heat contestants are given a microphone, a live audience and just two minutes to impress the judges (selected at random at each heat) with their original spoken word, poetry, hip hop, monologues and stories.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, sign up is 30 minutes before slam kick-off.
