Tell Us! consultation (for ages 13-17)
Is your son, daughter, student, friend aged between 9 and 17 and has a lot to say? We would like them to Tell Us what they think… about making, creating, learning and playing.
SLQ strives to continuously improve young peoples’ input and engagement with our programming, resources and activities. To this end, we have recently kicked off Tell Us! a consultation project that is creating opportunities for the voices and ideas of children and young people to inform planning, programming and development for nine to 17 year olds at State Library of Queensland.
Tell Us! is managed by human ventures’ team working collaboratively with SLQ staff and members of the community aged nine to 17. Using a ‘peer-research’ inquiry model, Tell Us! is driven by a project crew of young people who guide the development and implementation of research that will influence future planning at SLQ.
SLQ is interested in hearing from past participants in our programs who are interested in having a say. These workshops will be filled with making, creating, learning and playing…and will contribute to planning for future possibilities at SLQ.
Participants will also have the chance to win great prizes!
