Drawing Sheep with Judy Horacek -for schools

Sheep & kite by Judy Horacek

This event is now in the past.

Suitable for students in Prep, Year 1 & Year 2

Students are invited to picture book fun with Judy Horacek! She’ll talk about drawing pictures and how, working creatively with Mem Fox, Where is the Green Sheep? grew from an idea into a book.

And, of course there’ll be a sheep drawing session.

Judy is one of the 2012 May Gibbs Creative Time Fellows. With Mem Fox, Judy has created the wildly successful picture book Where is the Green Sheep? and has also written and illustrated four picture books of her own, including The Story of Growl, These are My Hands/These are My Feet and Yellow is my Favourite Colour. She is a well known cartoonist and has been published widely in Australia and overseas.

Presented by State Library and May Gibbs Children’s Literature Trust.
