Judy Horacek residency

Judy Horacek is one of the May Gibbs Creative Time Fellows for 2012, currently undertaking a residency in Brisbane.
With Mem Fox, Judy has created the wildly successful picture book Where is the Green Sheep? and has also written and illustrated four picture books of her own, including The Story of Growl, These are My Hands/These are My Feet and Yellow is my Favourite Colour.
She is a well known cartoonist and has been published widely in Australia and overseas. Her work has appeared in The Age, The Australian, The Canberra Times and numerous magazines, journals and books.
Seven collections of her cartoons have been published, the most recent of which is If you can’t stand the heat.
As part of her residency, she's coming to SLQ to share her skills and knowledge.
