Cultural Precinct

The State Library of Queensland building is a key site within the South Bank Cultural Precinct - an innovative arts centre and an inspiring place to explore for visitors of all ages.   The precinct is located in the heart of Brisbane, on the southern bank of the Brisbane River between and also includes the Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA), Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum – South Bank, Queensland, Performing Arts Centre and Queensland Theatre Company.

State Library is also a member of Business South Bank which aims to 'enrich the South Bank community through business.'
