Training
The State Library of Queensland develops and delivers training programs for all Queenslanders. These programs seek to promote access to and enjoyment of the State Library’s collections and services.
Community training
- Training and information sessions for members of the public, available at the State Library building. Discover how to create your own blog, research your family history, or preserve your precious item. Note that bookings are usually essential.
Training for public library staff
- OPAL courses: these courses train public library staff in how to deliver training and search the Internet effectively. (Note: for Queensland public library staff only.)
Online tutorials
- NetLinks: use our online subject directory to locate web-based tutorials on a variety of topics.
