The State Library of Queensland develops and delivers training programs for all Queenslanders. These programs seek to promote access to and enjoyment of the State Library’s collections and services.
Community training
- Training and information sessions for members of the public, available at the State Library building. Discover how to create your own blog, research your family history, or preserve your precious item. Note: bookings are usually essential.
Training for public library staff
- Professional development including OPAL courses: a wide range of courses training public library staff in how to deliver training and search the internet effectively. (Note: for Queensland public library staff only.)

- State Library of Queensland tutorials - online resources developed to help uses with understanding the features of One Search and various databases
