The Library Shop

The State Library of Queensland's new Library Shop offers an extensive range of books, gifts and merchandise for people of all ages.

Whether you fancy your books action-packed or filled with facts, we’ll have something for you.

Come in and explore our comprehensive range of fiction, history, Indigenous culture, and a great range of titles by and about Queenslanders. Browse through the new releases or comb the fiction backlist for an old favourite.

Children will find the perfect book from our selective range of quality children’s books. We have fiction for all ages, along with a great range of activity and craft books that encourage learning and knowledge in a fun and entertaining way.

But, if the choice is too difficult, you can always rely on our friendly and knowledgeable staff to recommend the right book for you. You can even put in a request for an out of print book. We’ll do whatever we can to get the book you want.

Gifts and merchandise for sale

If you are looking for a gift, we have a selection of fine hand made journals, writing instruments and decorative papers as well as a range of gift cards and prints.

Family historians and genealogists can purchase from a range of conservation materials to keep those precious memories safe for future generations.
