QR codes
What is a QR code?
QR (quick response) codes are barcodes which can be scanned by a mobile device camera. Scanning a code allows you to access the encoded details immediately – which may be a web page, message, video or a phone number.
How do I get a QR code reader?
Many mobile devices come with a QR code reader installed. If your mobile device doesn’t have one, you can find freely available apps on the web. Try www.mobile-barcodes.com/qr-code-software
How does it work?
Open the QR code app on your mobile device, point the camera at the code. Ensure the whole QR code is on the screen.
The app scans the code, and links to a website or displays a phone number, email address, etc.
