How can I borrow music scores?

The State Library's music score collection may be borrowed by Queensland residents who can visit the State Library at South Bank. If you are not able to visit the library in person, contact your local public library to borrow music through an interlibrary loan.

To register as a music borrower, visit us at the State Library Level 3 Information Desk with identification showing your current address and photo ID. For individuals under 18 years of age, a parent/guardian must be present to provide identification and sign the application form.

Choirs, orchestras, bands and other music groups in Queensland may join as institutional borrowers. Organisations and groups wishing to register as institutional music borrowers should contact us directly.
