Loans
The State Library of Queensland is a reference and research library and as such does not provide a general loans service. Some collections are made available under special lending conditions while other collections are restricted for use within the State Library only. The State Library provides access to material through our:
- interlibrary loan service for the borrowing or photocopying of material from the State Library collection
- document delivery service for clients to access material held in other Australian or overseas libraries
- music loans service for loans of music scores from the State Library collection to registered borrowers
- audiovisual material loans service for loans of most items in the collection to libraries
- Exhibition kit loans service where special exhibition kits are available for loan to Queensland public libraries and organisations
- Business Research + Solutions Queensland (BR+SQ) the State Library's commercial service for registered corporate borrowers
- Public Library Services provides interlibrary loans of material to Queensland public libraries
