Due to reduced staff numbers over the holiday break please be advised that our Ask Us service will not be operating at full capacity from 18 December 2017. We appreciate your understanding in this matter as we endeavour to complete your queries as quickly as possible. This service will return to normal in the coming year.

State Library of Queensland staff can help answer your questions and offer research guidance.  This service is provided in accordance with the Enquiry Services Management Policy.

We can:

  • assist you with identifying and searching relevant resources for your topic
  • if appropriate, refer you to other resources or organisations to find what you need.

If we cannot answer your question on the spot, we can:

  • research your topic for up to two hours free of charge (with a maximum of 6 enquiries per calendar year per client). We will endeavour to provide an answer within 10 working days.
