Information for public libraries
Public Library Services is an integral part of the State Library of Queensland, providing support to the state's extensive public library network. Over 330 public libraries currently benefit from this support in their efforts to meet the library needs of Queensland residents. The State Library - working with local government to promote and facilitate the enhancement of public library services.

Includes information on collection development, the Country Lending Service, independent libraries, forms, Local Government Reforms, news and events, topical research, training, and policies, standards and protocols
Planning
Includes information on building and design, collaborative networks, grants, statistics and technology in libraries
Specialist services
Includes information on community services, multicultural services, readers services, interlibrary loans, indigenous services, young people's services, local studies, family history, mobile libraries, discussion/mailing lists, The Big Book Club and The Little Big Book Club and training
