Strategic Visioning for Queensland public libraries 2013 – 2017
Expanding Horizons: 2008-2012 is a collaborative positioning paper that provides a framework for the development of 21st century public library services in Queensland.
State Library of Queensland, the Queensland Public Libraries Association (QPLA) and the Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) have been working with you to develop a new vision for Queensland public libraries into the future - The Next Horizon: Strategic Visioning for Queensland public libraries 2013-2017.
Consultation
Consultation sessions were held in conjunction with Queensland Public Libraries Association regional meetings as follows:
- Dalby -- 21st February, 2012
- Rockhampton -- 2 March, 2012
- Brisbane -- 28 March, 2012
- Townsville -- 20 April, 2012

User and Non User surveys closed 4 May 2012
Telephone interviews with Indigenous Knowledge Centre and Country Lending Service stakeholders completed 4 May 2012
