Public Librarians eReference Group

The Public Librarians eReference Group (PLeRG) has a role to advise and recommend electronic resources of interest to public libraries throughout the State and to consider the best model for their acquisition and access.  The group includes representatives from The State Library of Queensland and public librarians from throughout Queensland.  The aim of the group is to obtain the correct balance between unlimited statewide access subscriptions and limited use remote access subscriptions.

PLeRG will act as a forum for public librarians to provide advice and ideas on how best to achieve these objectives, along with promotion of and training in database use. Committee members [new window Document in PDF format6 kb] are interested in your feedback.
