The Living Literacy Forum
The State Library of Queensland hosted The Living Literacy Forum on 6th June 2011.
The Living Literacy Forum is part of the development of the Literacy Framework Project. The Framework is intended to help guide the delivery of services supporting literacy in Queensland through the State Library and public libraries.
The forum was attended by literacy stakeholders from federal, state and local government; NGOs and community organisations; and community organisations, academics, TAFE and school teachers, State and public library staff. Keynote speaker Bernard Salt and profile speakers Deb Stumm, State Library of Queensland, and Heather Jensen, Education Queensland, set the scene for the afternoon’s round table discussion groups.
