Understanding Use of Statewide Databases: Research Findings 2011
In mid June 2011 the State Library of Queensland (SLQ) distributed a web based survey questionnaire via SurveyMonkey with the principle aim to gain a better understanding of SLQ clients’ knowledge and use of the statewide access online databases. The research was conducted by Footprints Market Research with the assistance of SLQ clients, public library managers and public library staff members. The research findings and recommendations[new window

The recommendations from the report are being considered with the priority being given to improve access to the databases and develop resources for public libraries for marketing e-resources to the public. Feedback on the Report and the recommendations would be most welcome. Please forward your comments to: Alex Cutts at alex.cutts@slq.qld.gov.au
