Country Lending Service (CLS) grant
In 2011-12 each local government participating in the Country Lending Service will receive $670 per library open six or more hours per week from the Library Board of Queensland to support their library services. This funding can be applied to:

magazine subscriptions
-
other local stock not necessarily supplied by State Library e.g. local history material
-
library equipment and furniture
-
computer equipment
This funding cannot be applied to:
-
staffing
-
consumables
-
any materials and equipment which will not be used within the library for library purposes.
No application need be made for this funding. Funds will be paid to Council automatically, once the Service Level Agreement is signed and the annual compliance and statistics reports are received by State Library of Queensland.
