- The Corner is a new program for children under 8 years, available online or onsite at South Bank. With the support of their parents and families, children can explore this site and engage in a creative hands-on and minds-on experience of a digital exhibition, on-line games and reading activities.
TumbleBooks lets you watch and listen to more than 30 e-books online, some in languages other than English. You can also play games and puzzles and write your own book reviews.- Virtual Books let you 'turn the pages' of some of our online books. You can zoom in on a page to see more detail and listen to recordings of some virtual books.
- 'The Club': Great activities and programs for children
- Child's Play over 1,000 photographs of children from the 1890s to the 1920s playing, at school and at work.
- Visit Homework Help for a selection of quality websites for upper primary school and high school students.
- Access the indexes and databases for online encyclopedias, magazines and newspapers.
- Find out more about your favourite authors and illustrators.
- Check out State Library's competitions.
- Activities for librarians and children on multicultural Australia. The activities include puzzles, word games and craft activities.
- Visit the Harry Potter party site for ideas on holding a Harry Potter party, activities, badges, certificates, party food, websites and books.
