Children and families
The State Library of Queensland invites you to explore the diverse range of information, activities and services.
- The Corner is the State Library's program for children under 8 years, available online or onsite at the South Bank building. With the support of their parents and families, children can explore this site and engage in a creative hands-on and minds-on experience of a digital exhibition, on-line games and reading activities.
TumbleBooks lets you watch and listen to more than 30 e-books online, some in languages other than English. You can also play games and puzzles and write your own book reviews.- Virtual Books let you 'turn the pages' of some of our online books. You can zoom in on a page to see more detail and listen to recordings of some virtual books.
- 'The Club': Great activities and programs for children
- Visit Homework Help for a selection of quality websites for upper primary school and high school students.
- Access the indexes and databases for online encyclopedias, magazines and newspapers.
