Webcasts - Design discipline
The QUT School of Design and State Library of Queensland present a regular series of Design Discipline talks. Each lecture brings together two speakers from the core disciplines of the school - industrial design, landscape architecture, architecture, and interior design. Speakers discuss their work, the ideas that run through it and unexpected synergies that result.
Design Discipline - Lindsay & Kerry ClareLindsay and Kerry Clare are both graduates of QUT and commenced practice in Queensland in 1979. In 1998 they were granted a 2 year appointment as Design Directors for the NSW Government Architect. Since 2000 they have been in private practice in Sydney as founding directors of Architectus and now as independent architects. Lindsay + Kerry Clare were awarded the AIA Gold Medal in March 2010 for their contribution to the advancement of architecture and particularly sustainable architecture.
