The Talbot Family Treasures Wall, positioned at the heart of the Heritage Collection suite of galleries and reading rooms, features rare and significant heritage items collected by and gifted to the State Library of Queensland.

Queensland Votes showcases a fascinating collection of Queensland election memorabilia including posters, political cartoons, websites, t-shirts, badges, life sized Lawrence Springboard cardboard cut out and more from 1920s to current, in a visual story of our state’s political campaigning history: the players; the parties; and their bids for Vote 1.

Funded by and named after the Talbot family, the Treasures Wall is a 25 metre long 'wall of glass', showcasing items from the John Oxley Library and the Australian Library of Art.  Displays within the Treasures Wall change three times each year, allowing different objects, ideas and histories to be explored.
