The State Library of Queensland's TimeWalks are interactive journeys through Queensland history using old photographs and other graphic materials from the collection of the John Oxley Library of Queensland Memory, part of the State Library.

Note: Most of the pages within Time Walks are graphics-intensive, and access may be limited on slower connections due to the large file sizes.
These panoramas are provided as QuickTime VR (QTVR) and as JPG image files. The QuickTime versions are superior, providing more information, and higher resolutions for faster connections. However, they are much larger in size, and take much longer to download.
To view the QuickTime versions, you will need at least version 3 of the QuickTime plugin [new window] available from Apple for MacOS and Windows, and a compatible browser.
Some of the images presented in Time Walks are available for reproduction and can be ordered through the John Oxley Library's photographic service.
