Leonard and Kathleen Shillam: chronology and exhibition history
A chronology and exhibition listing of the works [new window 
430 kb] of Leonard and Kathleen Shillam was completed by Glenn R. Cooke, Research Curator, Queensland Heritage, Queensland Art Gallery, for 'Leonard and Kathleen Shillam: a tribute' (18 January-17 March 1996) which was one of the exhibitions celebrating the centenary of the Queensland Art Gallery. It includes a complete catalogue of the works in that exhibition and a list of the Shillams’ work in public collections. Following the death of Leonard on 1 September 2005 an attempt has been made to bring this project up to date. Unfortunately, it has not proved possible to locate the records of works from all their exhibitions. If anyone has additional material which can enhance this record of the careers of two of Queensland's most significant sculptors we would be grateful for your advice.
