Boxing is in my blood. My grandfather was a boxer and my Dad was a boxing trainer. My brothers and nephews were Queensland or Australian champions. I learnt to box with them.
Jerry Jerome was an Australian middleweight champion who died at Cherbourg in 1943 and is buried in Murgon cemetery.
