Purpose
To combine the Visual Arts Sourcebook Unit module: Identity: Looking in and looking out with the resources of the State Library of Queensland's Artists' Book collection for Levels 5 and 6 Visual Arts. The theme is based on Identity and the work is presented as an Artist Book.
Description
This four to six week unit integrates the use of computers and software in art to extend a students' self concept and awareness of social and cultural issues. By referring to the State Library of Queensland Artists' Books Collection, they are also able to explore variations on public art in their own community and extend this knowledge to international artists.
