Artists' Books and Poetry

Purpose

Provide opportunities for students to:

• explore artists' books and 'books as art' 
• investigate the use of the mandala in art, architecture and literature
• experiment with various poetry forms that can be communicated through the medium of an artists' book

Description

An eight week unit of work for Year 6 and 7 students based on the key learning areas of the former Visual Arts Strand with links to visual literacy.
