All artists’ books featured on this site are in copyright.

Copyright law
Copyright laws are in place to protect the creators of artistic and literary works. 

Australian copyright law is articulated by:
Copyright Act 1968 [new window]
Section 189 of the Act [new window] deals with moral rights.

Ownership of copyright
In all cases where a work is still in copyright, permission to copy must be obtained from the copyright owner.  The responsibility to identify the copyright owner and to obtain permission to use the image rests with the person who wishes to use the image.
