Berg Fashion Library Use this database to locate information on world dress and fashion. It covers all regions of the world from pre-history to the present. Resources include The Berg Encyclopedia of World Dress and Fashion, The Dictionary of Fashion History, an A-Z of Fashion, close to 60 full text e-books and an image bank from the V&A Museum’s fashion collection. This database is suitable for researchers in disciplines such as anthropology, art history, history, sociology, geography, folklore, museum studies, theatre, and cultural studies as well as fashion and textiles. |

Oxford Art Online Contains the art encyclopedia Grove Art Online (online version of the 34 volume Dictionary of Art), the Encyclopedia of Aesthetics, The Oxford Companion to Western Art and The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Art Terms. Grove Art Online covers all aspects of Western and non-Western art for all time periods. It gives access to thousands of images and also includes learning resources such as timelines. Use this database to research all aspects of art history and to locate bibliographies for further research. |
