PAINTING, SCULPTURE AND DESIGN
Painting resources cover schools, major artists and art movements for many geographic areas. The emphasis is on works from Australia, Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States with new additions from the Asia Pacific region. In addition to core reference works and specialised works, the collection includes exhibition catalogues, catalogues raisonne and periodicals, both historical and contemporary. Indexes and databases provide excellent access to journal literature.
Sculpture resources include a wide range of schools, styles and periods from the ancient world to the present day.
Excellent resources are held for illustration, graphic design, commercial art and cartooning and there is a representative collection of works about techniques.
