- Australian artists' books - artwork which has its origin in the form or concept ofthe book
- Fine examples of published Australian botanical illustrations
- Australian bookplates by prominent artists and those designed for prominent collectors
- Original artworks, blocks and plates used to produce illustrations in Australian artbooks as well as printers' mock-ups and publishers' dummies
- Exhibition catalogues and Australian art ephemera dating from the 19th century to the present.
