Corporate Services
The Corporate Services program provides a range of organisational services that underpin and support the State Library of Queensland's activities. These services include policy advice, planning and research; supporting governance and compliance requirements; strategic human resource services; financial and administrative services; facilities management; information and communications technology; and administration of the Public Library Grants Scheme. The program also provides an operational link to the Office of the Queensland Library Foundation, the Corporate Administration Agency and Internal Audit.
Finance, Facilities and Administration
Finance, Facilities and Administration provides financial, administrative and facilities services to the State Library, in conjunction with services provided by the Corporate Administration Agency (CAA). The State Library purchases its corporate transactional and policy services (including Internal Audit) through a Service Level Agreement with the CAA, which is a shared service provider to Queensland Cultural Centre Statutory Authorities and other Government agencies.
Management of governance issues, risk management, records management, internal audit and administration of the Public Library Grants Scheme are important functions of Finance, Facilities and Administration.
