Talbot Family Treasures Wall

The Talbot Family Treasures Wall, positioned at the heart of the Heritage Collection suite of galleries and reading rooms in the State Library of Queensland building, features rare and significant heritage items collected by and gifted to the State Library of Queensland. Funded by and named after the Talbot family, the Treasures Wall is a 25 metre long 'wall of glass', showcasing items from the John Oxley Library and the Australian Library of Art. Exhibitions within the Treasures Wall are changed regularly, allowing different objects, ideas and histories to be explored.

The Heritage Collection suite is open Monday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.

This item is on display in the Talbot Family Treasures Wall (Level 4) as part of the Making Do: pioneering gentry in north Queensland exhibition.
