The State Library of Queensland's collections contain primary and secondary reference sources for research into families who come from various time periods, places, occupations and activities. Resources include:

births, deaths and marriage indexes
electoral rolls
convict records
immigration and shipping records.

Further resources relating to genealogical research are also available. A free state wide information service is available for those needing help with family history research.
