The State Library of Queensland produces a range of publications to promote its services, collections and events, as well as for professional development and governance purposes.
Info Guides - these focus on specific, State Library-related topics, including the how to use of its services, finding materials in the various collections, plus practical how-to information such as searching the catalogue and applying for an e-services card.
Corporate reporting - annual reports of the Library Board of Queensland, the State Library's governing body.
Policies, standards and protocols - key policy documents such as Enriching the lives of Queenslanders, lending policies and model internet use policies are here, as well as Guidelines and Standards for Libraries and protocols regarding service delivery.
Papers and presentations - special publications of the State Library, plus staff papers, some of them publicly available.
For public libraries - everything from the Country Lending Service (CLS) manual to policies and protocols for public libraries.
Strategic planning - current and previous strategic plans and other documents such as the Multicultural Services Strategy and Reconciliation Strategy.
