Why Library?

The State Library of Queensland wants to engage with the community in new and different ways around the future of libraries by answering the complex question ‘why library’? Part of the Digital Library project this future focused discussion seeks to engage all members of the community who have an interest in libraries.

Our library and all libraries are changing and we need your help to define what the library of the future could be. We would like to invite you to participate in the ‘why library’ conversation. The conversation will be focussed on creating a vision for ‘..future libraries could be…’. The conversation will take place online through mediums such as blog and Facebook posts, tweets, polls and images posted to Instagram. All ideas are welcome. We look forward to your contribution.
