Microfilm and Digitising Unit
The principal role of this unit is to microfilm and/or digitise printed and written materials from the State Library of Queensland’s Queensland Memory collections.
These materials include:
- newspapers
- sheet music
- manuscripts
- rare books
All work is carried out to current archival standards, and the surrogate versions created ensure future preservation and access to often fragile original items of Queensland Memory.
