A night in the JOL: music and libraries

Historical archives can provide a rich source of material for musical endeavours. Musicians can mine old letters, diaries, newspapers and manuscripts to rediscover lost histories and create something entirely new. Join musical director, entertainer and teacher Dr Robert Keane, along with folk singer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and parodist John Thompson in conversation with Ian Townsend, to discuss how libraries inspire and inform their compositions and performance.
