Gaute Rasmussen (Game Design Lecturer, Qantm College)
Creative Expression as the Objective in Video Games
Gaute Rasmussen is a veteran of the video games industry, with over a decade of experience. He has worked for companies such as Ubisoft, Krome Studios, Micro Forté and Funcom. His gameography includes Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, Star Wars, Transformers, Hellboy and more. He is currently working as a lecturer at Qantm College in Brisbane where he teaches games design, project management and project work. Gaute is also currently undertaking a research master’s at QUT. His research consists of a practice-led exploration of the topic of creative expression as the objective in video games.
